God Taweret

Inspired by Ancient Egyptian Protective Deities of the Nile

This toy sculpture brings to life a rare depiction of God Taweret found on the walls of Edfu Temple, with the head of a crocodile, the body of a hippo and the legs of a lion.

Taweret, the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection and nurturing, was often depicted on the outer walls of temples to ward off evil and bring peace.
