THE ESNA SCARF

The Esna is a silk collection of multiple fabric patterns celebrating the genius art of The Temple of Khnum at the city of Esna. The ancient temple is dedicated to Khnum, the god of creation. That blend of civilizations is what makes the temple of Esna a remarkable piece of art. The central doorway leads into the dark, atmospheric vestibule, where the roof is supported by 18 columns with wonderfully varied floral capitals in the form of palm leaves, lotus buds and papyrus fans, and that’s where we found our inspiration
